I can say that I know nothing about computer but I'm proud that I managed to fix up my own computer during my NIE diploma days (of course with the help of a friend). We actually bought all the different parts of a computer and fix it up ourselves. I was really glad that I only spent about $1500 then to get a good 14 inch monitor, a dvd drive, a CD writer, a printer and a set of powerful speakers. All those are still in good working condition after more than 7years. It's now parked in the living room and for my mum to use.
This lappy that I'm using now costs me $2500 and seemed to be giving me lots of problem. I was really glad that I managed to revive it after it died on me last Wednesday. And I spent the whole of yesterday reformatting it and downloading whichever softwares that I need. It's amazing how a computer idiot can actually do so much. If you asked me to help you with yours, I can't. I am only bold enough to try on my own things. If all things fail, I'll just have to get a new one for myself. I don't want to be liable for other people's asset.
And the happiest thing is, I finally cleared all my debts!!! After so many years of living in debts. I'm finally free from bondage. I'm sick and tired of living in debts. No more debts from now on. I must guard my spending especially with my first credit card.
Although we've just gotten our pay, please do not assume that I have a lot of money to spend. I've just paid off my debts and blessed my brother and his wife quite a big sum of money for their wedding. I guess that's the least that I can do for them. So I'm now back to normal living with that little amount of money left. Cutting down on social outings again because I still need to get Christmas gift for gift exchange, 3 more wedding ang baos, end of the year coutdown and appreciation. All these compulsory events are quite taxing on me. However, from next month onwards, all the money that I earned will be all mine! This thought excites me!
I think it's time to think plan next year's goals and life directions.
